Our program opened with Natica Angilly's Poetic Dance Theater Company heralding the afternoon with a dance of clarions in an Homage to Greece, remembering the World Congress of Poets held in Larissa, Greece, June 29-July 3, 2011. NAPDTC was a featured dance troupe of the event.
The next number by NAPDTC was to a poem written by Dr. Dimitris P. Kraniotis, M.D., President of the 22nd World Congress of Poets held in Greece, "To the Dead and Unpublished Poet.
A formal ceremony to present a Golden Seal Book Award to Dr. Dimitris P. Kraniotis, M.D., was officiated by Mary Rudge, Poet Laureate of Alameda; Arthur Chang, Vice President of Artists Embassy International, and Richard Angilly, Treasurer of AEI; received by the Vice Consul of the Greek Embassy of San Francisco
